2026 GLOBAL KOREA SCHOLARSHIP Undergraduate Degree(GKS-U) Program

Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea for undergraduate-level degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

Korean government（NIIED） invites outstanding international students who wish to study for Bachelor＇s degree in Korea.

Semyung University (SMU) will do its best so that international students can have deep, academic experiences in optimal environment.

Students who are interested in this program are welcome to apply as below.

  - Embassy screening : ~ October 17, 2025

  - NIIED screening : ~ late November

  - University screening : ~ mid December

  - Announcement of the result of university screening : ~ December 26, 2025

  - Announcement of the result of GKS admission（by NIIED） : ~ January 9, 2026
